Welcome

   Welcome to our Website. Our goal is to introduce you to our church family and to let you know what we are all about. We have sensed a hunger in the heart of people for three things that we believe that God has provided through his church here at Northside Baptist.
   First, people are looking for an experience with the living God. We believe that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, and that having died on the cross for our sins, he was raised from the dead. We have the privilege of offering the living Christ in the gospel that we share. It is a gospel that promises forgiveness of sin, and the joy of eternal life.
   Secondly, people are looking for meaning and purpose in life. They are tired of the superficial rat-race. Henry David Thoreau wrote: “Most men live lives of quite desperation.” We believe that the meaning and purpose that God intends for you to have in your life is revealed in the Bible. We communicate the Bible as God’s inspired Word through which God reveals himself and his purpose for our lives.
   Thirdly, people are looking for a community of people who will really care about them. God has created us for relationship. We desire to share the joys and heartbreaks that are part of life with others who believe the truth as we do.
